After 30 years of working in all facets of the woodworking industry the desire to own and run my own business got realized in PIONIER FURNITURE, established in 1993. The name Pionier is derived from the "Pionier Stoel", a chair that can be seen in our Drosdy Museum right here in Swellendam.

In the beginning we only manufactured chairs, an estimated 20 000 plus over the last 10 years.

Now, due to public demand, we custom-make tables, cupboards, beds and many more high quality pieces of furniture that will make a house into a home to enjoy.
